Photo Analysis: Point of View (Photograph 1)

My Evaluation
  • Subject: (What is in the picture?)
         - The picture is a person with a paper bag, with a sad face drawn on it, over his head.

  • Setting: (Where was the picture taken?)
  •      - Looks like the picture was taken in a roon with white walls.

  • Background: (What is behind the subject?)
  •      - There is nothing behind the subject.

  • Foreground: (What is in front of the subject?)
  •      - There is nothing in front the subject.

  • Focus: (Is any part of the picture more clear or blurry?)
  •      - The paper bad is blurry and the man's shoulders are blurry.

  • Vantage Point / Point of View: (Where was the photographer standing when taking the picture?
  •   Below the subject? Above the subject? Very close? Far away?)
         - Very close

  • Composition: (Describe the lines, shapes, patterns, and colors in the image)
  •      - The image is in black and white.

  • Lighting: (How does the picture make you feel? Why?
  •      - The picture makes me feel sad. It makes me think.

  • Meaning: (What does this picture say to you?)
  •      - It says that sadness or pain is just a mask.
